This year, one charity that we have decided to support is Mary's Meals, which provides a simple solution to world hunger that works.  Mary's Meal's is especially active in helping the people of Haiti after the earthquake.

Mary’s Meals provides daily meals in school for over 360,000 children in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.  With their excellent approach to feeding the hungry, for as little as $12 a year, a child can be fed for a year.

 

Mary’s Meals not only addresses the immediate needs of hungry children by giving them a daily meal, it also allows those children to receive an education that can provide an escape from poverty for themselves and their communities.
